Indian cricketer Jasprit Bumrah tied knot with TV presenter and model Sanjana Ganesan in Goa with only closed ones in attendance.
The couple took to Instagram to share some pictures from the ceremony. Cricketer Jasprit Bumrah captioned the pictures, “love, if it fonds you worthy, directs your course.” He also added, “steered by the love, we have begun a new journey together. Today is one of the happiest days of our lives and we feel blessed to be able to share the news of our wedding and our joy with you’ Jasprit & Sanjana.”
After the wedding pictures, photos from haldi and mehendi ceremonies are out and we can’t keep our eyes of this cute couple. For the mehendi day, Jasprit & Sanjana both chose a hand painted outfit in traditional pichwai art. Sanjana was seen donning a yellow lehenga which was exquisitely hand-painted and inspired by mystical Indian forests. Each motif is precisely created by master artisans from Jaipur learned in the ancient Pichhwai art form.
The careful strokes were complemented with the signature gota patti hand embroidery and embellished with dori, pearls, zari, zardosi, and sequins. She paired her outfit with Pink City by Anita Dongre jewellery, and they both completed their looks with Anita Dongre footwear.
Well for their haldi ceremony, the couple opted for bright ensembles and were looking absolutely lovely. Jasprit Bumrah wore an Antar Agni kurta set worth Rs. 27,000 while Sanjana chose to wear a yellow jamdani sari from Anavila worth Rs. 64,000. The jamdani has floral motifs all over along with a contrast selvedge of silver Zari detailing.
Sanjana completed her look with a pair of oxidised earrings, rings and bracelets; she kept her makeup all subtle with soft eyes and nude lips. She kept her hair pulled back in a messy knot. Both of them paired their outfits with Aprajita Toor footwear.
